Swansboro Rotary Club Oyster Roast & Pig-Out

Tickets are now on sale for the 29th annual Swansboro Rotary Oyster Roast and Pig-Out scheduled for March 15th!

Come with an oyster knife and a glove, prepared to dine on tasty mollusks and an abundance of other, land-based chow!

In addition to oysters steamed in the shell, the menu includes roasted pig, fried fish, clam chowder, hot dogs with chili, cole slaw, hush puppies, condiments and a variety of beverages.

There will be live music from the Revelers, a popular variety music band from the Greenville-Goldsboro area. And college basketball fans won't miss a minute of the ACC tournament with the large TVs tuned to the game!

The event will take place at the Rotary Civic Center in Swansboro. The civic center is on West Main Street Extension, across NC 24 from Mills and Thomas Furniture.

Tickets purchased in advance at $40 and at the door tickets are $45. Children 15 and younger eat for $20 and those are available only at the door. Tickets can be purchased from any member of the Swansboro Rotary Club or at the Civic Center.

Proceeds from the event are used to benefit youth scholarships and projects in Onslow and Carteret counties.
