My first experience with the Crystal Coast in 1985 while vacationing in Emerald Isle led me to fall in love with the area and move here four years later. I have resided in Carteret County for just under 20 years. I still find the views to be breathtaking and peaceful and the wildlife a wonder.

I am an alumnus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Psychology. My education did not lead to me working in those fields but I was able to apply it during my administrative work for a large state law publishing company (formerly The Michie Company) in Charlottesville, Virginia and a local sporting goods distributor (formerly Henry's Tackle) located in Newport, NC. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I serviced the medical community including Carteret Clinic for Children and Adolescents and BeachCare of Havelock performing medical transcription.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, walking and canoeing and visiting my family who live in Maine, Virginia, Florida and Ohio. Being that I live on the coast, they love to come and visit regularly.
