After a few summer vacations in Emerald Isle, Cathy Sheaffer fell in love with the area, quit her job as a college swim coach in Pennslvania, and moved here with her husband and their three children. She joined Bluewater in 1989 when you could buy a home on the oceanside for under $100,000!
