December 31, 2004 I waited for more than 35 years for this the day I retired from my federal career with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Retirement was finally here after being with the government since graduating from high school in 1968. I did take a few years off early on getting married to my partner Rich and having two children, Lisa (who is now married and blessed me with two grandchildren) and Rich Jr.

Ah! Retirement, after much planning Rich and I decided we would pack up (including our son Rich) and move to the Crystal Coast of NC. After several trips we found and purchased a lot in Morehead City in the development of Brandywine Bay and contracted with Bluewater Builders to construct our house. We have since moved in and much to my amazement I found that I miss being out in the work environment. Although, I have the desire to work, I decided that I need a change and will take all of the experience I gained from my former career and personal real estate ventures to pursue a career in Real Estate.

I always strive to set high work standards and work hard to achieve all goals I set for myself. My federal career started as a clerk-typist and through much hard work I ended it as a health insurance specialist. In this role, I was one of the lead analysts which designed and maintained a data system for clinical laboratories (one of the first programs to collect user fees) across the United States. In addition, I set up a lock-box operation for the collection of fees, and was the project officer for two contracts. I also acted as a liaison for State health agencies as well as for the 600,000 laboratories maintained in the system.

Although, the assistance I provided to my former clients will be different than that required in real estate; I plan on listening to you, making your needs my priority and based on the information you provide work hard to achieve your goals. Whether your goal is to buy or to sell I will work diligently, honesty and ethically achieving results that you desire.
