Although I am familiar with the real estate market in Carteret and Western Onslow Counties, I specialize in the island communities along Bogue Banks , Western Carteret County, the town of Swansboro, and most importantly, Emerald Isle. My expertise is in primary residences, second homes, investment properties, and vacant land. As a retired serviceman, I feel quite comfortable assisting military families relocating to the area. I served 26 years with the United States Army, retiring in 1994 with the rank of Colonel. I have been a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina since 1978 and began my career in real estate in 1994, following my retirement from the military. Since 1994, I have been associated with Bluewater GMAC Real Estate as a broker and have consistently been a multi-million dollar producer in sales volume. My professional education and designations include: Graduate, LaSalle University, Class of 1968, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Graduate, North Carolina State University, Class of 1975, Master of Public Affairs; Graduate of the Realtors Institute, awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute GRI designation; and award of the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation (ABR) . Lastly, I have an in depth knowledge of the market area, having first visited in 1968, bought my first property in 1976, and built my first cottage at the beach in 1983. I have lived and worked at the beach full-time since 1994.
