Marcia's real estate career is amazing in its scope and accomplishments. Marcia is a native of Guilford, CT, attended UNC Chapel Hill, got her Broker's license in Charlotte NC in '72. She was a top producer in the Wendell-Raleigh market in the late 70's. Then she and her husband, Chuck, and children moved to Emerald Isle in '82 - a dream come true: the beach and work too !!

After 5 years brokering w/McNeill & Assoc., Bluewater Assoc. recruited Marcia to be the Broker in Charge. She led the real estate company to excellence in Emerald Isle. 13 years later, family needs required her to resign and return to full time brokerage in 2002.

In Carteret County, Marcia has been the president of the Board of Realtors, "Realtor of the Year", chair of Professional Standards and of Education. In 2006 she was named Bluewater's Top Producer and in the top 100 producing Realtors in the USA with GMAC 2006,2007 and 2008. She is a Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Graduate of Realtors Institute, Accredited Buyer's Agent. Consistently an 18 million to 22 million dollar producer for the company, her 37 year real estate career speaks for itself. Many clients are friends now and most are happy investors.

Oldest Son Rob graduated from East Wake in Wendell,NC. Jay and Beau graduated from ECU. Daughter Amy graduated from NC State and teaches at East Wake HS in Wendell, where she lives with her husband David and daughter Jordan.
