Maurice Phelps, a native of coastal North Carolina, has lived in Carteret County for 26+ years, having served as Senior Pastor of Glad Tidings Church for 25 of those years. Since retiring from the pastorate in february 2008, he has been actively involved as a counselor/consultant/coach for both pastors and individuals throughout Eastern NC.

Maurice, and his wife Judith, are proud parents of two fine sons and are extremely thankful for two beautiful granddaughters who live in nearby Newport. Maurice's hobbies include fishing, hunting and camping, but his passion is serving people. He brings that passion and integrity to real estate as a broker in the Beaufort office.

Maurice says, "Caring for people was always my number one priority while pastoring. It is still my priority when it come to serving people with their real estate needs."
