Having relocated to the area from High Point, NC in 1986, I consider myself a "local" to the Emerald Isle area. I also have deep roots with Bluewater GMAC Real Estate being employed as a receptionist at the company's conception in 1987. My career in real estate sales (part-time) began in early 1988 and slowly evolved into a full-time profession a few years later. I happily accepted the promotion of Sales Manager and Broker-in-Charge of the Emerald Isle office in the fall of 2001. In early 2006, I was named the General Sales Manager overseeing the sales management of Bluewater's other two offices located in Atlantic Beach and Cape Carteret. I directly manage seven brokers while continuing to list & sell area real estate. I consistently am a multi-million dollar producer year after year.
I take my real estate profession seriously. While being a member of the Carteret County Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, I possess the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Realtor and the Residential & Resort Specialist (RRS) designations. I am currently working towards obtaining my CRB designation offered by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers.
My family considers itself fortunate to live in beautiful coastal Emerald Isle! My husband, Keith, is an area sales manager with UPS based out of Raleigh, NC. Our two sons, Brian & Tyler have enjoyed growing up at the beach enjoying the sports of surfing & wakeboarding. Brian is a recent graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and the Kenan Flagler Business School while Tyler is a sophomore at UNC-Chapel Hill pursuing a degree in business as well. My spare time is spent reading, walking the beach, boating, yard work and maintaining our rental properties.
